Gate House Farm

Gate House Farm – an upgraded home with ample spaces for family gathering and entertaining guests, while at the same time allocating private spaces for work and play for parents and the growing children. Capitalising

on the beautiful landscape and surrounding yard, the design also seeks to provide a seamless flow between indoors and outdoors, where the same curation of both large-group spaces and private pockets applies.

Family Retreat At Home

The house redesign, done within the existing building footprint, is centered around three main objectives: firstly, the house is to be a Central Hub with spaces to be together with friends and families; secondly, the idea of connected independence means that each family member has sufficient privacy without having to hide in a corner; and thirdly, the house must take advantage of its beautiful surrounding and allows for easy movement between indoor and outdoor.

The dining and living areas are clearly defined by the varying ceiling heights, and are seamlessly tied together by the surrounding landscape.
