We were commissioned by a local entrepreneur to design a distinctive Youth Centre that offers spaces in close connection with nature. The new school serves children aged 2 to 5 in the mornings, and opens its doors to the wider community in the evenings
through a range of enrichment classes. The design is thoughtfully arranged around
existing London plane trees, preserving their presence as a constant reminder of the
natural environment.

low-impact materials and systems, reflecting
the respect for nature embodied by the existing
trees on site.
